Following his transition to part-time hours in January after 40 years of practicing dentistry in Albany, Dr. Christopher Maestro has now shared that he will fully retire from clinical practice at Maestro Dental Wellness this June. While this is a bittersweet moment for our team and community, we are deeply grateful for his decades of care, leadership, and service.

An update from Dr. Maestro to our Dental Family,
In December of 2024, I announced my transition from practicing full-time to a two-day-per-week schedule. While the transition has been a smooth one, and taking care of you continues to be as rewarding and satisfying as ever, I have come to the decision to retire fully, effective June 26, 2025.

Since 1985, I have had the honor and privilege of providing your care alongside our wonderful team at Maestro Dental Wellness. Your faith and trust in each of us have been so inspiring, and we all feel deeply grateful for your support.
As we work to onboard a dentist who embodies our team’s commitment to patient care, I want to assure you that our team remains dedicated to providing the level of care you have come to expect from us. Our amazing team remains in place, and the friendly faces you have built relationships with will continue to be here to support you and provide as smooth a transition as possible.
I look forward to visiting with you and continuing your care ahead of my next chapter.
